Move Your On the Table Ideas to Action
The application period for Action Grants has closed.
On the Table participants were motivated to move into action after their 2018 & 2019 On the Table conversations. In fact, nine in ten survey participants said they were likely to take specific actions regarding something they discussed during their On the Table conversation. To help realize some of the best ideas, the Community Foundation of the Chattahoochee Valley is excited to announce a second year of On the Table Action Grants! The Community Foundation will award a total of up to $20,000 in quick action grants to support ideas arising from or inspired by your On the Table conversations. Anyone who participated in an On the Table conversation is eligible to apply.
Applicants can submit multiple applications, but only one per project idea. Applicants are invited to submit an application, including a short video featuring their idea of an actionable task to benefit your community. It could be anything from planting a community vegetable garden to buying school supplies for a classroom in need; creating a neighborhood art project to cleaning up a local playground - what could you do with $100 to $2,000 to benefit your community?
- Have participated in one or more On the Table conversations.
- Create a short video (no longer than 120 seconds) explaining your idea, how it works and its potential impact. These videos can be shot quickly with your phone; no need to be highly produced.
